Vice-Rector for Education and Research of the International Black Sea University visited Dresden University of Technology
Vice-Rector for Education and Research of the International Black Sea University, Prof. Dr. Tea Kbiltsetskhlashvili, visited Dresden University of Technology (TUD) together with the representatives of 12 Georgian universities within the framework of the HERD project. The Dresden University of Technology (TUD) is one of the international partners of the project and is involved in the planning and managing of research activities. HERD representatives were hosted by the European Project Center (EPC) of Dresden University of Technology.
The project aims to popularize Georgian science locally and internationally, promote the development of the scientific research, increase the visibility of scientific works and to share knowledge in science management with European partners; Within the project framework, a new scientific platform – VIDATUM has been created for the promotion of science in the local and international arena.
During the visit, HERD representatives had the opportunity to learn on the ground about the practices and experiences of inter-university collaboration in terms of managing scientific research directions. During the visit, activities aimed at maintaining the sustainability of the results of the HERD project and the optimization of the Unified National Science Portal were planned.
