Khatia Butikashvili, head of the IBSU library, was in Germany at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau on a DAAD scholarship. Within the framework of the visit, he visited the main library of Kornmarkt and Zwickau-Scheffelstrasse, its second branch in Schöneberg and the longest library of the city, which is located in a building built in 1481.
The university library today includes more than 250,000 resources, including printed books and magazines, e-books and e-journals, databases. These resources are available from anywhere in Germany by interlibrary subscription.
In order to refine and improve the services of the library, he met with representatives of the university and students, the head of the library, where experience was shared and a common vision was formed.
