IBSU hosted Norwegian Ambassador

Ambassador of Norway to Georgia, Bergliot Hovland visited the International Black Sea University and held a public lecture for the students of the American Studies BA program.

IBSU Rector Kakha Shengelia and Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of Bachelor and Doctoral Programs of American Studies, Tamar Shioshvili hosted the Ambassador.

At the meeting with the students, Bergljot Hovland spoke about the role and rights of women in Norway; Also on the importance of women’s involvement in public and political processes.

The public lecture was dedicated to Mother’s Day, which is celebrated annually on May 12 in the United States.
