Academic and administrative staff of the International Black Sea University participated in a charity event in support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. IBSU staff has raised money that will be donated to the Ukrainian Relief Fund.
Today, the staff met with the IBSU Rector, Mr. Saffet Bayraktutan, discussed the measures taken by the university in support of Ukraine, and talked about future projects that are planned in this direction.
The Rector thanked the academic and administrative staff for the unity and said that the University has raised money with the staff to help the Ukrainian people and is actively carrying out activities in support of Ukraine.
“As soon as the war started, we joined the world protest, condemning this brutal act of aggression and expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people. In this regard, the university regularly carries out various activities: public lectures were held, and a panel discussion was held. Starting from the new academic year, Ukrainian citizens who will study at the International Black Sea University, will be enrolled in mobility, or regain their student status, will get a 50% discount – said the rector.
