Badri Tatarashvili a student of School of Computer Science and Architecture, Participated in the exchange program at University of Lodz, Poland
“My name is Badri Tatarashvili. I am a sophomore student of International Black Sea university at the faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering. Have finished #1 public school of Dusheti on Gold medal and also using 50% of Government grant. I have been to University of Lodz, Poland My experience at the University of Lodz started very well. The environment is very friendly and lecturers are willing to help in case of any problem. Equipment is also modern and working fine. We have diversity in our groups and have met new people from around the world. The dormitory is modern and we have everything working here. The only problem is that the staff doesn’t speak English. It is not hard to study here as lecturers are very clear, helpful and responsive. We have SIS like platform, which gives detailed information not only about class schedules, but lecturers, courses, students and grades. The only struggle we had was choosing subjects, but the ISO group did help us to solve the problem. The difference which I want to point out first is that we do not have midterms here. On the other hand, classes are divided into two parts: Lecture and Laboratory, which are held on different days by different lecturers. Mostly, Points are distributed half for laboratory and other half for lecture, but it depends on lecturers. It may seem hard at the beginning, but in reality it’s not. So do not be afraid of anything and be ready for a completely new and wonderful experience.”
