Dimitri Zarkua a Master Degree student of School Business received Lithuanian state funding and currently is on exchange at Mykolas Romeris University.
“Hello, I’m Dimitri, 22 years old, a master’s student at the Faculty of Business and Technology, I received Lithuanian state funding and am currently in Vilnius with an exchange program, my past experience (participating in an exchange program in China, Beijing) made it quite easy for me to adapt to a foreign environment and initial challenges.
I think living in the dorms is one of the main attractions of this program, and I’m sure the friendships and memories I made here will stay with me for the rest of my life. I met students from all inhabited continents of the earth, tasted unique dishes.
The lecturers here made a great impression on me, I changed my view on relatively skeptical subjects from the very first lecture. Everywhere we go, we feel that the people here have great love for Georgians, they love Georgian cuisine and the identity that we have.
In the city, I was most impressed by the cleanliness, greenery and the foxes and deer walking with me on the street. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to see quality education and student life in a different light to take every chance and participate in similar programs.
