A festival of Korean culture was held at IBSU
A festival of Korean culture was held at the International Black Sea University, organized by the Korean Language and Culture Student Club.
Ambassador of South Korea to Georgia Kim Tong Ob attended the event, as well as representatives of the Georgian-Korean Bridge (GKB).
The festival was opened by the rector of the International Black Sea University Saffet Bayraktutan. As the Rector noted, the university is pleased to host His Excellency the Ambassador and the Korean Culture Festival, where IBSU students and school pupils had the opportunity to get to know Korean culture more closely.
Participants of the festival had an opportunity to listen to the presentation prepared by the members of the Korean Language and Culture Student Club, which introduced the Korean culture, its own success story and Hallyu – “Korean wave”. Festival participants enjoyed K-Pop performances and tasted Korean traditional dish – Kimbap.
