Coffee and Tea with the Dean

As part of the series of meetings called “Coffee and Tea with the Dean,” Mariam Razmadze, the Dean of the School of Computer Science and Architecture, met with Zwickau students from the University of Sciences who visited IBSU for the first semester in the framework of the double diploma master’s program “Management and Information Technology.”.

Foreign students shared their impressions about the university with school representatives and introduced their future plans. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Department of International Relations, Nini Chalabashvili, who wished success to the students and introduced prospects for further cooperation.

It should be noted that the double diploma master’s program funded by DAAD was developed in cooperation with four partner countries and received unconditional international accreditation for the next 7 years. It represents the first interdisciplinary master’s program in the educational space of Georgia.

Mariam Razmadze, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Architecture, hosted the second meeting of the “Coffee and Tea with the Dean” series with students from the University of Applied Sciences Dresden. International students are visiting IBSU for the first time for one semester as part of the double degree master’s program “Management and Information Technologies.”.

HTW Dresden students discussed their thoughts on IBSU with school representatives and presented their plans. Nini Chalabashvili, Head of the International Relations Department, attended the meeting to wish them luck and discuss future collaboration opportunities.

The double degree master’s program was designed with DAAD financing through collaboration with four partner nations and has acquired unconditional international certification for the next seven years. It is Georgia’s first multidisciplinary master’s program in the education area.
